Today I took the snake for a photo-shoot in the washroom with me. I love when he and I are snakey together. We even matched!

SNAKE!

his tongue tickles!

Sneak, sneak!

He loves to drape on necks.

What a lovely scarf I have!

his breath on my face was really cute. I could feel little puffs on my nose.

he's a slithery little guy.

He almost got in my mouth at one point.

he was trying to get on the floor.

He likes to snuggle in hair, so he slithers over shoulders alot.

Constrictor!

*sniff sniff* with his little tongue!

I went to the pet store and got to hold a baby ball python. IT WAS SO CUTE. it snuggled me! I think when I get the money I'll buy one of my own. This snake technically belongs to my sister Grace, but we all hang out with him. He's pretty cool. I like watching him eat his rats. Though, i think i'll feed mine live food, once I get one. It would be better for the snake in the long run I think.

Actually, it's safer and more economical to feed pre-killed if you can.

Baby Balls eat once every three days (they can go for longer, but if you want them to grow, they need to eat frequently.) Sometimes it is difficult to get live pinkies and fuzzies that frequently. Also, if you feed live and aren't careful to watch the snake until he eats, the struggling mouse (and they do struggle, you know) can harm your snake.

I've done both, and while it's morbidly fun to watch the snake squeeze the life out of it's prey, it is a TON easier to feed pre-killed. :)

Just so ya know. ;)

Thanks for the infos!

I will probably feed pre-killed. It will be much easier.
